Tenets of Faith

  1. The Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, without error in the original languages. The one true God manifests Himself in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  2. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His complete conquest over the powers of Satan, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His imminent return in like manner as He went away.
  3. The church consists of all who truly believe in Jesus Christ and in His atoning death and trust in Him as their personal Lord and Savior. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of lost men, and this salvation is wholly of grace through faith.
  4. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling Christians are enabled to live godly lives.
  5. We believe that healing was provided for the spirit, soul and body in the atonement of Jesus Christ.
  6. We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians are available and operational in the body of Christ today.
  7. We believe in the ordinance of baptism in water (by immersion) in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We do this all in the name of Jesus. We also believe in the ordinance of Holy Communion.
  8. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost - they that are lost unto eternal damnation - they that are saved unto eternal life.
  9. We believe in the spiritual unity of all who believe in our Lord, Jesus Christ.

By-Laws of Resurrection Life Full Gospel Church

Our Vision

  1. To preach the Word without compromise in love and humility and to perfect the saints to do the work of the ministry.
  2. To worship God in spirit and in truth, not as perhaps learned through tradition but as taught through the Word of God.
  3. To teach and train the children and young people God has placed in our trust.
  4. Resurrection Life is a "Missions-Minded" church endeavoring to reach the unreached and tell the untold. We support many missionary efforts around the world. We set aside the first 15% of offerings and place it into our missions fund to support local outreach and special mission's projects.

Defining Boards

  1. The Official Board is made up of the Senior Pastor and Pastors he chooses, Elders and Deacons.
  2. The Elder Board consists of the Senior Pastor and Pastors he chooses and all Elders. It shall be responsible for the spiritual and financial direction of the church. It shall review all expenditures each month. It shall approve all new members. It shall serve as the pulpit committee in the event the pastorate shall become vacant.
  3. The Deacons shall be the custodians of the church property and responsible for its maintenance. They shall be responsible for the distribution of benevolence of the church. They shall direct the counting, collection and disbursing of funds from the treasury of the church as directed by the Pastor and Elder Board.
